Script Development
We're grateful to Fingal County Council for supporting the development of Verdigris' script through their Artists' Support Scheme 2022. This enabled writer/director Patricia Kelly to workshop an early draft of the screenplay with professional actors and to hone a later draft with one of Ireland's best script editors.
VERDIGRIS
In pre-production. Verdigris is the story of unhappily married and recently retired workaholic MARIAN, whose paradigm shifts when she meets young sex worker JEWEL. It's a realistic, raw tragic alternative buddy movie.
