In a slump after breaking up with ex-girlfriend Leah, Maggie is at a loose end. Best-pal Babs, who makes a habit of leaning heavily on Maggie, dumps her boring freelance court-transcribing gig on her pal, so she can nip off on a romantic weekend. But Maggie doesn’t find it boring – in fact the case she’s typing catches her attention and won’t let go. Finding herself privy to the accused’s personal information, Maggie decides to do a little PI work. Her investigating quickly becomes interfering in the case, but it’s all worth it if the alleged victim gets the justice she deserves - isn’t it?
